But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Deramond couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Nauzet Costabal sped through Chohen FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elodio Bastarrica. If Arnoldo Albrecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elodio Bastarrica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentino Inzunza in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Herminio Deramond made a precise shot to the right of Plácido Ross. Pancoras FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Pancoras FC's goalkeeper Plácido Ross had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Albrecht. After some careless play in the Pancoras FC defense, Herminio Deramond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Plácido Ross. The Pancoras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Plácido Ross should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Albrecht in the 29th minute of play forced Pancoras FC's goalkeeper Plácido Ross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nauzet Costabal in the 31st minute of play forced Chohen FC's goalkeeper Elodio Bastarrica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Aldo Orsterhont shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Plácido Ross showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arnoldo Albrecht's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Plácido Ross read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Arnoldo Albrecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Plácido Ross having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Albrecht was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Pancoras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Albrecht came free, but Plácido Ross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herminio Deramond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Plácido Ross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Hugo Orlando Guarda made a precise shot to the right of Elodio Bastarrica. Chohen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Chohen FC's José Alberto Monasterio got a free kick in the 60th minute. Pancoras FC's Darío Alcantara shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elodio Bastarrica but with some difficulty. If Valentino Inzunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Nauzet Costabal notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Chohen FC's Elodio Bastarrica. Elodio Bastarrica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 73 minutes into the game, Juan Pedro Valencia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pancoras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chohen FC the free kick. The supporters of Chohen FC booed when Pancoras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Pedro Valencia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Valentino Inzunza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pancoras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentino Inzunza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Herminio Deramond sped through Pancoras FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Plácido Ross. If Valentino Inzunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, Pancoras FC's Valentino Inzunza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elodio Bastarrica narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Chohen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nauzet Costabal came free, but Elodio Bastarrica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pancoras FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pancoras FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
