Lucio Jose María Cruchaga hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Elizalde Roldán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. José Julio Barroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 played minutes Altovalsol FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Basay. Altovalsol FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Fermín Mercado scored to the left of an out of position José Julio Barroso, making the score, 1-0. In the 13th match minute, Licancheu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocente Lizana Lezana to maneuver through the defense. Fermín Mercado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Julio Barroso having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Altovalsol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matteo Requena to maneuver through the defense. Elizalde Roldán recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fermín Mercado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. José Julio Barroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elizalde Roldán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Fermín Mercado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of José Julio Barroso, passed just outside the right post. In the 28th minute, one of Altovalsol FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Altovalsol FC. The goalkeeper, José Julio Barroso, was totally fooled by Licancheu's Ronaldo Muñiz, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Francisco José Fuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elizalde Roldán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fermín Mercado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altovalsol FC's José Julio Barroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elizalde Roldán in the 47th minute of play.

In the 58th minute, Leovigildo Llanos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Julio Barroso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. José Julio Barroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermín Mercado in the 61st minute of play. Leovigildo Llanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. José Julio Barroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elizalde Roldán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Elizalde Roldán had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Julio Barroso. Altovalsol FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elizalde Roldán was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Altovalsol FC's José Julio Barroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elizalde Roldán in the 75th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Inocente Lizana Lezana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Altovalsol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fermín Mercado came free, but José Julio Barroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Abraham Villar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quique Fernández was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Altovalsol FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
