Quintén Yanque charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quintén Yanque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Quintén Yanque hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. When Evelio Zelaya came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Huancarane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Zelaya couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Albano Basualdo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ángel Peso was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Ángel Peso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Zelaya in the 16th minute of the match. Ángel Peso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albano Basualdo's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Huancarane's Evelio Zelaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ángel Peso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Albano Basualdo fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huancarane's protests and gave Albano Basualdo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Huancarane getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Albano Basualdo hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Aldana's Omar Jara broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Evelio Zelaya scored 0-4 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ángel Peso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albano Basualdo took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ángel Peso. Ángel Peso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evelio Zelaya was the one to do the kick off. Evelio Zelaya who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Ángel Peso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Miguel Gertosio during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Gustavo Montaner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. With a little luck, Aldana's Ángel Peso got control of the ball when Evelio Zelaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. Huancarane's Carlos Gustavo Montaner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintén Yanque in the 68th minute of play. Evelio Zelaya who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Ángel Peso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 72nd minute Jose Miguel Gertosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Gustavo Montaner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Huancarane's Albano Basualdo in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 88th minute, Albano Basualdo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Aldana's zone, Jaime Salazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ángel Peso came out of the goal and Jaime Salazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdón Alejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ángel Peso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Huancarane left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aldana.
