Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Luis Alberto Soza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Grutas AFC's Marcelino Lurquín got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Victoro Arregui made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Lester Lecaroz sent off a good shot on target. Victoro Arregui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Alberto Soza, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pacífico Ardiles in the 14th minute of play forced Grutas AFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Frei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Grutas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Lurquín. 17 minutes into the match, Penaflor FC's Andy Torrijos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Lurquín in the 21st minute of play forced Penaflor FC's goalkeeper Victoro Arregui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelino Lurquín kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Pacífico Ardiles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penaflor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pacífico Ardiles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Frei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 played minutes Grutas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ursino Serna. Sebastián Peake hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Marcelino Lurquín was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grutas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penaflor FC the free kick. 40 minutes into the match, Penaflor FC's goalkeeper Victoro Arregui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lester Lecaroz. The supporters of Penaflor FC booed when Grutas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Mandujano didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ángel Armando was the one to do the kick off. Lester Lecaroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Alberto Soza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoro Arregui having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Luis Alberto Soza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoro Arregui was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lester Lecaroz in the 73rd minute of play forced Penaflor FC's goalkeeper Victoro Arregui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lester Lecaroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoro Arregui having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Alberto Soza in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoro Arregui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Grutas AFC's Luis Alberto Soza in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penaflor FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luis Alberto Soza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Victoro Arregui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luis Alberto Soza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Penaflor FC's Victoro Arregui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Alberto Soza in the 96th minute of play. Grutas AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Penaflor FC for a fine match.
