After having played for 9 minutes, Digo Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamenco Macareño FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Digo Mandrak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Flamenco Macareño FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Florentino Gómez hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Compi defense, Florentino Gómez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Matta. The Compi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Matta should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Miquel in the 23rd minute of play forced Flamenco Macareño FC's goalkeeper Leonel Lastra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Visen Dittmann's late challenge caught a Compi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Visen Dittmann helped the player get up and apologised. Leonel Lastra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Lattapiat in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Flamenco Macareño FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Antonio Anwandter hit a great ball. Leonel Lastra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Eslava in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Eulalio Bareyre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamenco Macareño FC and the Compi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Eulalio Bareyre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Lastra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Miquel in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Compi's goalkeeper Telmo Matta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Gómez. 45 minutes into the match, Mario Alberto Saldaña dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Telmo Matta, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florentino Gómez to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Florentino Gómez notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Compi's Telmo Matta. Telmo Matta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th minute, Erasmo Eslava got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Telmo Matta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Digo Mandrak in the 62nd minute of play. If Erasmo Eslava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Flamenco Macareño FC's Antonio Anwandter got a free kick in the 64th minute. Leonel Lastra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Eslava in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Flamenco Macareño FC got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Bareyre. In the 69th minute of the match Jeronimo Lattapiat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonel Lastra skillfully saved the ball. Florentino Gómez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonel Lastra came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Compi's Justo Miquel. But to his dismay, Justo Miquel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Compi's goalkeeper Telmo Matta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
