Cecilio Lemus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Florentino Gómez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecilio Lemus having to make a save. A collision led to Chorriadero getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Federico Diena hit a great ball. Cecilio Lemus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Gómez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Lastra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Flechart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amado Flechart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Lemus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Digo Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Cecilio Lemus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Gómez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Digo Mandrak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Lemus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mario Alberto Saldaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Digo Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute, Florentino Gómez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flamenco Macareño FC made a substitution. Jeraldo Heiremans replaced Visen Dittmann. Mario Alberto Saldaña in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cecilio Lemus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Florentino Gómez scored 0-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cecilio Lemus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Flamenco Macareño FC defense, Amado Flechart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Lastra. The Flamenco Macareño FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Lastra should have stopped the shot. Cecilio Lemus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florentino Gómez went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Chorriadero's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Digo Mandrak 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. Cecilio Lemus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Digo Mandrak in the 84th minute of play. Florentino Gómez struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Cecilio Lemus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamenco Macareño FC. 86 minutes into the match, Chorriadero's goal looked a bit too open when Digo Mandrak came free, but Cecilio Lemus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Jeraldo Heiremans put in a rough tackle. Flamenco Macareño FC made a substitution. Leopoldo Zuloaga replaced Florentino Gómez. 91 minutes into the game, one of Flamenco Macareño FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Chorriadero a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valerio Traverso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Flamenco Macareño FC's Leonel Lastra. 2-5. Leopoldo Zuloaga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 99thth minute, Cecilio Lemus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Flamenco Macareño FC played a much better game than Chorriadero and deserved their victory. The Chorriadero players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
