Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amado Flechart started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Eslava in the 3rd minute of play forced Chorriadero's goalkeeper Cecilio Lemus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Compi's Erasmo Eslava nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cecilio Lemus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Justo Miquel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Amado Flechart fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Compi's zone, Amado Flechart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Matta came out of the goal and Amado Flechart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Chorriadero booed when Compi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Cruchaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Compi's Telmo Matta got control of the ball when Federico Diena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Federico Diena struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Telmo Matta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorriadero. Justo Miquel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Chorriadero's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Eslava came free, but Cecilio Lemus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Eslava to make the kick off. With 68 minutes on the clock, Valerio Traverso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 68 minutes into the game, one of Chorriadero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erasmo Eslava received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cecilio Lemus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Eslava in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cecilio Lemus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Justo Miquel might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Lemus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Miquel ran back to his position shaking his head. If Erasmo Eslava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Miquel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Lemus having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Juliano Atenas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justo Miquel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Almi during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Chorriadero got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Almi. Erasmo Eslava recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chorriadero's zone, Erasmo Eslava stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Lemus came out of the goal and Erasmo Eslava tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Eslava in the 97th minute of play forced Chorriadero's goalkeeper Cecilio Lemus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 100th minute of the match, Erasmo Eslava tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cecilio Lemus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Compi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
