With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ursino Velez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Panulcillo FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Evaristo Droste hit a great ball. The Panulcillo FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Panulcillo FC's Justino Martínez Lamas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Montt in the 29th minute of play forced Panulcillo FC's goalkeeper Madeo Iturralde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Madeo Iturralde managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Diuquin FC's Martin Bischhoffshausen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Robustiano Salamo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panulcillo FC's protests and gave Robustiano Salamo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Panulcillo FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Robustiano Salamo hit a great ball. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panulcillo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enmanuel Hagedorn was slow to take the kick. During this time Diuquin FC's players had a chance to rest. Geofredo Chamaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ursino Velez having to interfere. In the 70th minute of the match Justino Fabres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ursino Velez skillfully saved the ball. Geofredo Chamaca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ursino Velez made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Geofredo Chamaca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
