Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Baltazar Macuer fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Illapel's protests and gave Baltazar Macuer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Chamiza FC. Ambrosio Frey stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Martino Villaseca. 1-0. Álvaro Llanos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Pan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Illapel's Pedro Huaquil got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Chamiza FC booed when Illapel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Mac Lean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martino Villaseca made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Álvaro Llanos sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Julio Pan made a precise shot to the right of Martino Villaseca. Illapel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Pedro Huaquil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Anriquez having to interfere. Martino Villaseca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julio Pan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Álvaro Llanos notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Illapel's Martino Villaseca. Martino Villaseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Illapel's zone, Álvaro Llanos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martino Villaseca came out of the goal and Álvaro Llanos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Julio Pan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martino Villaseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Manuel Antonio Roques made the kick off in the second half. Martino Villaseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Pan in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Julio Pan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martino Villaseca was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. If Álvaro Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 minutes, Mónico Vicuña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chamiza FC and the Illapel players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mónico Vicuña hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Aureo Uriarte was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 62nd play minute Pedro Huaquil came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Isidoro Anriquez. 4-1. If Pedro Huaquil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Isidoro Anriquez managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Illapel's Pedro Huaquil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 72nd minute Álvaro Llanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martino Villaseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Llanos might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martino Villaseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Álvaro Llanos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81stth minute of the game Álvaro Llanos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Illapel's Martino Villaseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute Julio Pan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martino Villaseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Álvaro Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Pan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chamiza FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Illapel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
