Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ever Mannhardt took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vicuna FC's zone, Ever Mannhardt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Ignacio Peluchonneau came out of the goal and Ever Mannhardt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvestre Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro Sánchez in the 5th minute. Vicuna FC's Francisco Ignacio Peluchonneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ever Mannhardt in the 7th minute of play. Francisco Ignacio Peluchonneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ever Mannhardt, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Theobald Anabalon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Theobald Anabalon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alessandro Sánchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Fonseca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Brian Marchese was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almendro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vicuna FC the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theobald Anabalon in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Fonseca saved Almendro from getting behind. Theobald Anabalon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Vicuna FC's Theobald Anabalon in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almendro's goalie prevented a goal. Donato Pechini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Francisco Ignacio Peluchonneau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 59th minute, Almendro's Donato Pechini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisco Ignacio Peluchonneau. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theobald Anabalon in the 67th minute of play forced Almendro's goalkeeper Silvestre Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theobald Anabalon struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Silvestre Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vicuna FC. Alessandro Sánchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Fonseca having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Quiñones during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes Vicuna FC got a freekick which was hit by Zelipe Hasche. After a defensive mix-up in Almendro's zone, Alessandro Sánchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Almendro's Donato Pechini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Ignacio Peluchonneau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The Almendro supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Almendro would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
