Manolo Lisperguer succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. Silvestre Fonseca was a little too slow when Julio Lataste got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 2-0. Manolo Lisperguer scored 4-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvestre Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Almendro's Donato Pechini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lois Grez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Manolo Lisperguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvestre Fonseca came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Amazaca's Manolo Lisperguer. But to his dismay, Manolo Lisperguer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Alcadio Aguad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Silvestre Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolo Lisperguer in the 57th minute of play. Donato Pechini's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Lois Grez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lois Grez made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Donato Pechini sent off a good shot on target. Silvestre Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manolo Lisperguer's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. If Julio Lataste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Almendro defense, Manolo Lisperguer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Fonseca. The Almendro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Fonseca should have stopped the shot. Ever Mannhardt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lois Grez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ever Mannhardt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almendro's supporters rose to their feet, but Ever Mannhardt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lois Grez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manolo Lisperguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Silvestre Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Julio Lataste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Manolo Lisperguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Manuel Ochoa hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Abner Del Fierro's late challenge caught a Amazaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abner Del Fierro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Almendro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abner Del Fierro to maneuver through the defense. Manolo Lisperguer struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Silvestre Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amazaca. There was no doubt that Amazaca were the better team. Amazaca's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
