Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Quinepeumo's Alessandro Mauad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Julio Herrera during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Quinepeumo booed when Boca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Julio Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Boca FC's goalkeeper Edgar Munster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igon Lamas. In the 9th minute, Alessandro Mauad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Alessandro Mauad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Munster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juliano Beitia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Evelio Bahamonde hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Manuelo Otaiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Alexandro Anguita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match, Hilario Malsch tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgar Munster saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Igon Lamas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boca FC's Edgar Munster proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Boca FC from getting a goal against them. Edgar Munster made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igon Lamas in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Javiero Orden hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Igon Lamas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boca FC's Edgar Munster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Mauad in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Quinepeumo got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Malsch. After recieving a nice pass, Boca FC's Jose Ramon Maier tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Javiero Orden kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Juliano Beitia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Munster skillfully saved the ball. Alessandro Mauad struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Edgar Munster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quinepeumo. A collision led to Boca FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Cristiano Wittig hit a great ball. Edgar Escudero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juliano Beitia kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Javiero Orden hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Igon Lamas struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Edgar Munster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quinepeumo. The Boca FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Quinepeumo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
