Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Maitenes FC booed when Algarrobal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tauro Saldivia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tauro Saldivia in the 5th minute of play forced Maitenes FC's goalkeeper Valiente Quintero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Algarrobal's Tauro Saldivia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Mario Salazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Tocornal having to interfere. Valiente Quintero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tauro Saldivia, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 21 played minutes Maitenes FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandro Oxman. Tauro Saldivia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valiente Quintero having to interfere. Algarrobal's Francisco Antonio Fox got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Tauro Saldivia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Valiente Quintero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
If Francisco Antonio Fox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute of the match, Yoel Pontigo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ermegildo Tocornal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Yoel Pontigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ermegildo Tocornal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Maitenes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patxi Mercado to maneuver through the defense. Valiente Quintero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Antonio Fox in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Algarrobal's goalkeeper Ermegildo Tocornal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Algarrobal's Rafael Maria Pratt got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tauro Saldivia in the 82nd minute of play forced Maitenes FC's goalkeeper Valiente Quintero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Algarrobal's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Yoel Pontigo 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Maitenes FC's Edelmiro Leese got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edelmiro Leese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Tocornal having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Algarrobal's goalkeeper Ermegildo Tocornal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Salazar. With a little luck, Algarrobal's Ermegildo Tocornal got control of the ball when Mario Salazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maitenes FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Algarrobal had won, even though Maitenes FC had held more of the ball.
