He walked away shaking his head. Eustacio Escalante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Unai Aris in the 17th minute of play. Ruperto Campusano struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Eustacio Escalante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llepu FC. After 22 minutes of play, Llepu FC's Ruperto Campusano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustacio Escalante was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eustacio Escalante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruperto Campusano went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Eustacio Escalante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Unai Aris in the 30th minute of the match. When Lautaro Lantadilla came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Guarilihue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Lantadilla couldn't finish the play. Llepu FC's Vladimiro Bertrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Lantadilla in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Baquedano in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Bertrand saved Llepu FC from getting behind. Jaume Arrué hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute of the match Gabino Bari shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladimiro Bertrand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Unai Aris to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Lautaro Lantadilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimiro Bertrand. Llepu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Lantadilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After having played for 58 minutes, Unai Aris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llepu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Unai Aris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruperto Campusano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Escalante having to interfere. If Unai Aris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Bertrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Baquedano in the 69th minute of the match. Vladimiro Bertrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Baquedano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guarilihue's Eustacio Escalante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Aris in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Lantadilla in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Bertrand saved Llepu FC from getting behind. The Llepu FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Llepu FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
