The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Julio Rogers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelio Vivanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. José Julio Rogers made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Adelio Vivanco sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, Ancocatani's goal looked a bit too open when Estevan Feres came free, but Teofilio Poisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Estevan Feres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soco AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Estevan Feres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilio Poisson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ancocatani getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Nauzet Imaz hit a great ball. Estevan Feres struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Teofilio Poisson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soco AFC. After having played for 68 minutes, Peio Bolaños managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ancocatani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peio Bolaños was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Adelio Vivanco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ancocatani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincente Berger in the 73rd minute of play forced Soco AFC's goalkeeper José Julio Rogers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Ancocatani got a corner. Soco AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Quentín Romo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vincente Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Julio Rogers having to interfere. Eulalio Polhemus succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1.
