Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Caupolicán Correa took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Zenón Jaime managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naltagua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenón Jaime was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Naltagua getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Simón Zaror hit a great ball. Tancredo Facuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Dean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenón Jaime, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Zenón Jaime came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Naltagua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zenón Jaime couldn't finish the play. Tancredo Facuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nicanor Colipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Tancredo Facuse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan Solis's late challenge caught a Retulemus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Solis helped the player get up and apologised. Juan Solis hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Caupolicán Correa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Colipi having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Caupolicán Correa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zenón Jaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Dean having to interfere. Modesto Dean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenón Jaime in the 43rd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zenón Jaime to make the kick off. Alessandro Marsano kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Tancredo Facuse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicanor Colipi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Omar Aldunate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Retulemus FC and the Naltagua players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Omar Aldunate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Naltagua's Juan Solis got a free kick in the 80th minute. Tancredo Facuse struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Nicanor Colipi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retulemus FC. Naltagua's Nicanor Colipi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Naltagua from getting a goal against them. Caupolicán Correa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Colipi having to interfere.
