A hard shot 3 in the game by Tancredo Facuse from a close distance when the talented Erasmo Aramayo managed to make a qualified save. Ancomarca's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Retulemus FC defense, Reinaldo Restat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Dean. The Retulemus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Dean should have stopped the shot. Carlos Alberto Lorenzini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ancomarca's Reinaldo Restat got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Modesto Dean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Eduardo Ebensperger's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Erasmo Aramayo made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Tancredo Facuse sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caupolicán Correa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ancomarca's Tancredo Plaza got a free kick in the 55th minute. With his leg Modesto Dean managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Ancomarca's Luis Eduardo Ebensperger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carlos Alberto Lorenzini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Modesto Dean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Retulemus FC's zone, Luis Eduardo Ebensperger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Dean came out of the goal and Luis Eduardo Ebensperger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erasmo Aramayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caupolicán Correa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luis Eduardo Ebensperger came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ancomarca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Eduardo Ebensperger couldn't finish the play. Ancomarca's Carlos Alberto Lorenzini got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Alberto Lorenzini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Dean having to interfere. Tancredo Facuse struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Erasmo Aramayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retulemus FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Carlos Alberto Lorenzini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ancomarca's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Alberto Lorenzini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Dean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Eduardo Ebensperger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Omar Aldunate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Retulemus FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ancomarca were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
