Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Naltagua's goalkeeper Nicanor Colipi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zavier Eguiluz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Adelino Mac Kay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Colipi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zavier Eguiluz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Mannuel Daly shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicanor Colipi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nicanor Colipi made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Adelino Mac Kay sent off a good shot on target. Gaspar Meza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenón Jaime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Zenón Jaime managed to get in a good position for a shot. Naltagua's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenón Jaime was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Meza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zavier Eguiluz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Aijota's goal looked a bit too open when Ricard Imaz came free, but Gaspar Meza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Meza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenón Jaime in the 41st minute of the match. After 42 minutes of play, Naltagua's Ricard Imaz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaspar Meza was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Naltagua were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zenón Jaime made a kick off. Brian Allison took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicanor Colipi. Naltagua's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zavier Eguiluz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Nicanor Colipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Naltagua's Jeraldo Bueno got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Naltagua's Zenón Jaime in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aijota's goalie prevented a goal. Nicanor Colipi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Mac Kay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Aijota's goalkeeper Gaspar Meza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricard Imaz. 71 minutes into the game, Zenón Jaime recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaspar Meza. Zenón Jaime showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When Bertrán Galaz fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Naltagua's protests and gave Bertrán Galaz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Bertrán Galaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zavier Eguiluz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Colipi having to interfere. In the 81st minute Adelino Mac Kay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Colipi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Mac Kay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Aijota booed when Naltagua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Iribarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Naltagua's zone, Zavier Eguiluz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Colipi came out of the goal and Zavier Eguiluz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Adelino Mac Kay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Colipi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zenón Jaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Naltagua supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Naltagua would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
