In the 9th match minute, Lampa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Arteaga to maneuver through the defense. Zacarías Quitral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Florín Arrate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, one of Guatanave AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guatanave AFC. Valiente Fiedler shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 24 minutes into the game, Severino Irisarri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guatanave AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lampa the free kick. After 25 played minutes, Lampa's Timeteo Novajas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jesus Akel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lampa reached it. Flavio Buitrago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Akel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Buitrago in the 30th minute of play forced Guatanave AFC's goalkeeper Jesus Akel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Flavio Buitrago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jesus Akel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Buitrago in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Flavio Buitrago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guatanave AFC's Jesus Akel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Lampa's Rutenio Vallejo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Akel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guatanave AFC's Jesus Akel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Lobo in the 43rd minute of play. Jesus Akel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Buitrago, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Florín Arrate was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavio Buitrago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jesus Akel made a huge save. Florín Arrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarías Quitral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Lobo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Eduardo Arend in the 73rd minute of play forced Lampa's goalkeeper Florín Arrate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Luis Eduardo Arend managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guatanave AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Eduardo Arend was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jesus Akel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Buitrago in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Flavio Buitrago dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jesus Akel, 1-1. When Quique Arenas came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Lampa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quique Arenas couldn't finish the play. If Felipe Saravia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Lobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jesus Akel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Buitrago who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Jesus Akel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Rutenio Vallejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guatanave AFC's Jesus Akel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Buitrago in the 95th minute of play. Lampa were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
