Bertrán Quijada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Maquieira having to interfere. In the 11th minute of the match Karlos Cuenca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Maquieira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Alcerreca's goalkeeper Loreto Cauffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasco Fariña. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Simón Daguerressar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcerreca's supporters rose to their feet, but Simón Daguerressar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Maquieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Javier Daza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Loreto Cauffmann made a huge save. Alcerreca's Loreto Cauffmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Alcerreca from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Bertrán Quijada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Maquieira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 31st minute, Eder Villouta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Maquieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simón Daguerressar in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eder Villouta in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loreto Cauffmann saved Alcerreca from getting behind. Francisco Javier Daza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Alcerreca were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Raúlo Escandón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the game, Calvario's Francisco Javier Daza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loreto Cauffmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Eder Villouta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loreto Cauffmann having to interfere. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alcerreca's goalkeeper Loreto Cauffmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 63 minutes, Bartolomé Deuth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calvario and the Alcerreca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Bartolomé Deuth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 65 in the game by Bertrán Quijada from a close distance when the talented Gustavo Maquieira managed to make a qualified save. Calvario's players were relieved. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Calvario:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alcerreca:s goal. The goalkeeper, Gustavo Maquieira, was totally fooled by Alcerreca's Abundio Vidma, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Calvario's Bartolomé Deuth got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Simón Daguerressar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
