Karlos Cuenca was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alcerreca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! When Estebano Lautroup, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 8 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Loreto Cauffmann was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Raúlo Escandón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertrán Quijada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertrán Quijada struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Claudio Cienfuegos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcerreca. 24 minutes into the match, Paniri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bertrán Quijada came free, but Claudio Cienfuegos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bertrán Quijada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Alcerreca getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Raúlo Escandón hit a great ball. A collision led to Paniri FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Reinaldo Gurruchaga hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Alcerreca's Abundio Vidma tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bertrán Quijada struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Claudio Cienfuegos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcerreca. Paniri FC's Estebano Lautroup got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Alcerreca's Domenico Maeztu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 46 played minutes Paniri FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaiás Abarza. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Estebano Lautroup made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Domenico Maeztu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcerreca and the Paniri FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Domenico Maeztu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute of the match Luis Eduardo Davy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loreto Cauffmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Domenico Maeztu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Claudio Cienfuegos made a huge save. Bertrán Quijada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Cienfuegos having to interfere. Paniri FC's Claudio Cienfuegos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Paniri FC from getting a goal against them. After 64 played minutes Alcerreca got a freekick which was hit by Raúlo Escandón. Estebano Lautroup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loreto Cauffmann having to interfere. Nazario Coloma struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Loreto Cauffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paniri FC. Quique Raab scored 1-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Loreto Cauffmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bertrán Quijada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Pere Jordi Orella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loreto Cauffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quique Raab in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Raúlo Escandón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertrán Quijada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Cienfuegos having to make a save. Paniri FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
