Ambrosio Binder made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Ernesto Jaña sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as False Flags's Ofelio Elso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ambrosio Binder. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Geofredo Zubicueta hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Saldías in the 10th minute of play forced False Flags's goalkeeper Norberto Badiola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of False Flags booed when Marchan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balendín Melinao didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led False Flags's Álvaro Patrickson to fire away a dangerous shot which Ambrosio Binder despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Marchan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ofelio Elso came free, but Ambrosio Binder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Jaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ambrosio Binder made a huge save. Ramón Arana kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Marchan AFC's zone, Ernesto Jaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Binder came out of the goal and Ernesto Jaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Jaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ambrosio Binder made a huge save. In the 33rd match minute, Marchan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaitano Balcazar to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, False Flags's Ernesto Jaña dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 41 played minutes False Flags got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Ortiz.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hipolito Saldías was the one to do the kick off. Roldán Felip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Badiola having to interfere. Hipolito Saldías received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Norberto Badiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Marchan AFC's Hipolito Saldías sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norberto Badiola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ofelio Elso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Binder having to interfere. When Patricio Fernández fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marchan AFC's protests and gave Patricio Fernández a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of False Flags booed when Marchan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Fernández didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ofelio Elso in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ambrosio Binder saved Marchan AFC from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Balendín Melinao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Jaña in the 82nd minute of play forced Marchan AFC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Binder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Ernesto Jaña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ambrosio Binder was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Ambrosio Binder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ofelio Elso's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Jaña in the 88th minute of play forced Marchan AFC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Binder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ofelio Elso managed to get in a good position for a shot. False Flags's supporters rose to their feet, but Ofelio Elso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambrosio Binder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. False Flags were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Marchan AFC for a fine match.
