Gaitano Balcazar hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ambrosio Binder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ofelio Doursther in the 16th minute of play. Ofelio Doursther sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Ofelio Doursther shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Binder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Hipolito Saldías who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mechaico FC's Julio Larrañeta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Larrañeta made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Roldán Felip sent off a good shot on target. Mercurio Esparza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ambrosio Binder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Roldán Felip got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 38th match minute, Mechaico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Francisco Taibo to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes, Marchan AFC's Lázaro Piña shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Larrañeta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marchan AFC reached it. In the 41st minute, Hipolito Saldías fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mercurio Esparza in the 46th minute of play forced Marchan AFC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Binder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hipolito Saldías to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcos Francisco Taibo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alarico La Motte tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Julio Larrañeta. Ambrosio Binder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Marchan AFC booed when Mechaico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobías Mendoza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Larrañeta came out of the goal and Roldán Felip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Hipolito Saldías had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Larrañeta. Mechaico FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hipolito Saldías was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ofelio Doursther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ambrosio Binder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Larrañeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Saldías, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Saldías in the 78th minute of play forced Mechaico FC's goalkeeper Julio Larrañeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Larrañeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roldán Felip in the 79th minute of play. Agustín Macaya kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Roldán Felip managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marchan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roldán Felip was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Hipolito Saldías cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Julio Larrañeta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roldán Felip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Julio Larrañeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marchan AFC's Ambrosio Binder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ofelio Doursther in the 96th minute of play.
