With a little luck, Quinenahuin's Abner Vidaurre got control of the ball when Yeray Baros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucero Vizcaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Tabilo in the 21st minute of the match. Alirio Mac Millan scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abner Vidaurre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yeray Baros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abner Vidaurre having to interfere. A collision led to Quinenahuin getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Esequiel Marfan hit a great ball. If Flavio Tabilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Tabilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lucero Vizcaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Tabilo in the 39th minute of play forced Licanray's goalkeeper Lucero Vizcaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abner Vidaurre came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Licanray's Yeray Baros. But to his dismay, Yeray Baros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Flavio Tabilo made the kick off in the second half. If Alirio Mac Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Yeray Baros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Licanray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quinenahuin the free kick. If Eufemio Saldés had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute.
