In the 12th minute, Danél Valdés got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon María Frias in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Daudet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pablo Besoain hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Alcantara AFC's Velasco Patterson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Alcantara AFC from getting a goal against them. José Marcelo Celis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velasco Patterson having to interfere. Rafael Daudet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon María Frias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alcantara AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enrique Urra in the 30th minute. Chocolan FC's Rafael Daudet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Romero in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, Alcantara AFC's Velasco Patterson got control of the ball when Eustaquio Bobadilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes Chocolan FC got a freekick which was hit by José Marcelo Celis. 45 minutes into the match, Chocolan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Brown came free, but Rafael Daudet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Ramon María Frias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alcantara AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Roy Brown got free with Rafael Daudet in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When José Marcelo Celis came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Chocolan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Marcelo Celis couldn't finish the play. Eustaquio Bobadilla struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Velasco Patterson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chocolan FC. 71 minutes into the game, Chocolan FC's Eustaquio Bobadilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Velasco Patterson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 75th play minutes Ramon María Frias shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Rafael Daudet and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Alcantara AFC's Ramon María Frias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafael Daudet. That made the score 1-3 after 78 minutes of play. Ramon María Frias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Daudet having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Chocolan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon María Frias came free, but Rafael Daudet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ramon María Frias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Daudet was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The Chocolan FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alcantara AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
