Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Seran Bassenge started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Chocolan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Maffet to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Savier Amaral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicanor Lagos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Jose Esteban Morel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rancagua AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Esteban Morel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Daudet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute Seran Bassenge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Daudet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jose Esteban Morel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes Chocolan FC got a freekick which was hit by Aristeo Infantas. Jorge Vicente Bas charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Vicente Bas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Jorge Vicente Bas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match Germán Landea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicanor Lagos skillfully saved the ball. Rafael Daudet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Esteban Morel in the 34th minute of the match. Nemesio Monte charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Monte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chocolan FC booed when Rancagua AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Monte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustaquio Bobadilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Nicanor Lagos made a huge save. After having played for 40 minutes, José Marcelo Celis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chocolan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Marcelo Celis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eustaquio Bobadilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Marcelo Celis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rancagua AFC's goalkeeper Nicanor Lagos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Chocolan FC's Eustaquio Bobadilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicanor Lagos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. José Marcelo Celis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 67 played minutes Rancagua AFC got a freekick which was hit by Madeo Maschke. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Eustaquio Bobadilla put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nicanor Lagos. José Marcelo Celis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rancagua AFC's Nicanor Lagos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Bobadilla in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rancagua AFC's zone, Eustaquio Bobadilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Lagos came out of the goal and Eustaquio Bobadilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Esteban Morel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rafael Daudet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Rancagua AFC's Jose Esteban Morel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Daudet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Seran Bassenge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes in the game, Jose Esteban Morel dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Chocolan FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
