In the 5th minute, Matias Socias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Algorta getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Delmiro Olea hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Algorta's zone, Matias Socias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Estevan Berrio came out of the goal and Matias Socias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Algorta's Cresenciano Wassermayer in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palqui's goalie prevented a goal. Juan Estevan Berrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Socias, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Juan Estevan Berrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Socias in the 39th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Pietro Landoff successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Palqui's Pietro Landoff got control of the ball when Toni Mofre tried to sneak it across the goal line.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matias Socias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Toni Mofre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Algorta's supporters rose to their feet, but Toni Mofre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pietro Landoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas Marambio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pietro Landoff having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Salomone Gálvez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palqui and the Algorta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Algorta's zone, Xaime Cabañas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Estevan Berrio came out of the goal and Xaime Cabañas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Matias Socias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan Estevan Berrio, 1-1. Xaime Cabañas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Juan Estevan Berrio made a huge save. Pietro Landoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Mofre in the 77th minute of the match. Xaime Cabañas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pietro Landoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Marambio, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute Toni Mofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pietro Landoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xaime Cabañas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
