Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Modesto Kunstmann started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes, Palqui's Hugo Santis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Miguel Huneeus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palqui reached it. When Ofelio Ibieta came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Durazno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ofelio Ibieta couldn't finish the play. After 14 played minutes, Durazno's Federico Price shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pietro Landoff came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Durazno reached it. Ofelio Ibieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Pietro Landoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ofelio Ibieta in the 22nd minute of play forced Palqui's goalkeeper Pietro Landoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ofelio Ibieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Pietro Landoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Matias Socias came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Palqui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Socias couldn't finish the play. If Matias Socias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes of play, Durazno's Modesto Kunstmann made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pietro Landoff was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Socias made a kick off. Ariano Céspedes's late challenge caught a Durazno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariano Céspedes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Ariano Céspedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xaime Cabañas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Francisco Miguel Huneeus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Miguel Huneeus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xaime Cabañas in the 55th minute of the match. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Durazno's goalkeeper Francisco Miguel Huneeus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francisco Miguel Huneeus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Socias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Modesto Kunstmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pietro Landoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Kunstmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Modesto Kunstmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Miguel Huneeus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Socias in the 83rd minute of the match. Francisco Miguel Huneeus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Socias's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Durazno's zone, Xaime Cabañas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Miguel Huneeus came out of the goal and Xaime Cabañas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Modesto Kunstmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pietro Landoff. That made the score 0-2 in the 94 minute of play. Durazno's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
