In the 2nd minute of the match Quintán Prado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulín Ayala skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Putuputane getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Nafarroa Painecura hit a great ball. In the 9thth minute of the game David Israel Ardizzoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buill FC's Leandro Olivar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that David Israel Ardizzoni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Olivar was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Zelipe Pairoa hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes, Putuputane's Ezequiel Gebler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leandro Olivar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Putuputane reached it. After 18 minutes, Eustacio Delpín mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buill FC and the Putuputane players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eustacio Delpín kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The Putuputane fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Putuputane's Felipe Luna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leandro Olivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Israel Ardizzoni in the 23rd minute of the match. Leandro Olivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Israel Ardizzoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Felipe Luna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Leandro Olivar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Israel Ardizzoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Olivar having to interfere. Paulín Ayala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manolo Carmona went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manolo Carmona to make the kick off. José Alberto Araube was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Putuputane's Ezequiel Gebler got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Felipe Luna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60thth minute of the game David Israel Ardizzoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buill FC's Leandro Olivar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leandro Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Luna in the 61st minute of play. Leandro Olivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Luna, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Filomeno Seraín's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulín Ayala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Putuputane getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nafarroa Painecura hit a great ball. When Felipe Luna came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Putuputane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Luna couldn't finish the play. If Felipe Luna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Filomeno Seraín had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Putuputane's Maurino Brotfeld got a free kick in the 87th minute. David Israel Ardizzoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Olivar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Israel Ardizzoni in the 94th minute of play forced Buill FC's goalkeeper Leandro Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Zelipe Pairoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Putuputane's Ezequiel Gebler tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
