Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Severiano Andrea made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 10th match minute, Arinia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germán Céspedes to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Futrono's Epifanío Berguecio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 14th match minute, Futrono was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Larraechea to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Cornelio Galván sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haroldo Iribarra skillfully saved the ball. In the 17th minute, Fernando Malbec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severiano Andrea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lino Baesler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Futrono booed when Arinia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ofelio Parraguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severiano Andrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Malbec came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lino Baesler could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximino Zamudio during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Futrono got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Zamudio. Fernando Malbec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Lino Baesler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Moñiz was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Malbec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Severiano Andrea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Baesler. Arinia AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Andrea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Severiano Andrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Futrono's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Andrea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Baesler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 76 minutes, Fernando Malbec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futrono's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Malbec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Futrono getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Saverio Larraechea hit a great ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Fernando Malbec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futrono's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Malbec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Arinia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Andrea came free, but Lino Baesler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Galván kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Lino Baesler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Andrea in the 94th minute of the match. Fernando Malbec might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lino Baesler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Malbec ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Malbec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Futrono fully deserved thier win.
