Eloi Garriga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pío Brieba, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Alberto Rinaga made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Potros F.C's Loreto Marticorena. After 29 played minutes Talcan FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Cabezas. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Potros F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Cabezas came free, but Mario Jesus Markmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Rinaga shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramiro Floto made a kick off. Alberto Rinaga made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Potros F.C's Robert Cano. In the 56th minute, Kevin Bryngelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eloi Garriga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Davagnino in the 57th minute of the match. Mario Jesus Markmann made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Lester Villegas sent off a good shot on target. If Pío Brieba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rdth minute of the game Pío Brieba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talcan FC's Eloi Garriga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Potros F.C's Pío Brieba in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Talcan FC's goalie prevented a goal. 71 minutes into the match, Eduard Davagnino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloi Garriga. Talcan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduard Davagnino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Potros F.C made a substitution. Bermejo Malherbe replaced Eduard Davagnino. A sloppy throw-in by Alberto Rinaga in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Potros F.C's Lander Telaeche. After 77 played minutes, Potros F.C's Romano Angeloni shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eloi Garriga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Potros F.C reached it. Alberto Rinaga got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ramiro Floto. When Alfonso Caicedo fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talcan FC's protests and gave Alfonso Caicedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Potros F.C. Pío Brieba stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eloi Garriga. 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pío Brieba in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloi Garriga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bermejo Malherbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pío Brieba in the 90th minute of play forced Talcan FC's goalkeeper Eloi Garriga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloi Garriga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pío Brieba, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constancio Aramburu in the 97th minute of play forced Potros F.C's goalkeeper Mario Jesus Markmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
