Yeray Socias's late challenge caught a Seron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yeray Socias helped the player get up and apologised. If Lander Milroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narcomillo Lauwerens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudentio Caldera in the 7th minute of play. Américo Saravia's late challenge caught a Huilipatagua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Américo Saravia helped the player get up and apologised. Narcomillo Lauwerens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudentio Caldera, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of Seron booed when Huilipatagua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudentio Caldera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th match minute, Seron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Saravia to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Huilipatagua booed when Seron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Abad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prudentio Caldera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Angel Valverde hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Juan Devoto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narcomillo Lauwerens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Huilipatagua's zone, Ulises Gebler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Maria Marquéz came out of the goal and Ulises Gebler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulises Gebler was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Américo Saravia was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Américo Saravia kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Prudentio Caldera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcomillo Lauwerens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Prudentio Caldera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lander Milroy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lander Milroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafa Morel to strike the kick off in the second half. Prudentio Calderas short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Narcomillo Lauwerens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ulises Gebler kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Narcomillo Lauwerens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lander Milroy's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the Huilipatagua defense, Rafa Morel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Maria Marquéz. The Huilipatagua fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Maria Marquéz should have stopped the shot. Seran Zurita charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seran Zurita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Seron booed when Huilipatagua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seran Zurita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Seron's zone, Lander Milroy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narcomillo Lauwerens came out of the goal and Lander Milroy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Yeray Socias was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Huilipatagua's Yeray Socias got a free kick in the 67th minute. Prudentio Caldera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Narcomillo Lauwerens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Luis Angel Valverde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Huilipatagua's Lander Milroy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Narcomillo Lauwerens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jose Maria Marquéz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Angel Valverde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prudentio Caldera struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Narcomillo Lauwerens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huilipatagua. Narcomillo Lauwerens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prudentio Caldera in the 95th minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Rafa Morel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafa Morel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Seron fans cheered their team off the field, for while Huilipatagua had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
