Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Guntademaro Corral started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 6 minutes, Modestio Costabal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modestio Costabal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horacio Jesus Mac Kenna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guntademaro Corral's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Semir during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 15 minutes into the match, Modestio Costabal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chungara's Adelio Paillalef. Adelio Paillalef was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, Chungara's goal looked a bit too open when Firmín Hermua came free, but Adelio Paillalef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chungara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ramiro Semir was slow to take the kick. During this time Quila's players had a chance to rest. Quila's Ramiro Semir was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adelio Paillalef in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Modestio Costabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Adelio Paillalef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Firmín Hermua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modestio Costabal in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adelio Paillalef saved Chungara from getting behind. The shot was stopped by Horacio Jesus Mac Kenna but with some difficulty. Próspero Ayerdi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 39th playminute. Adelio Paillalef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Firmín Hermua, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Chungara got a freekick which was hit by Romelio Ulloa. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Modestio Costabal made the kick off in the second half. Rafa Gallardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Jesus Mac Kenna having to interfere. If Romelio Ulloa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chungara's Rafa Gallardo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horacio Jesus Mac Kenna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guntademaro Corral in the 60th minute of play. Marcelino Villalobos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Horacio Jesus Mac Kenna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guntademaro Corral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guntademaro Corral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Jesus Mac Kenna having to interfere. If Próspero Ayerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelio Paillalef made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Firmín Hermua sent off a good shot on target. Firmín Hermua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelio Paillalef having to interfere. Guntademaro Corral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelio Paillalef was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Modestio Costabal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Modestio Costabal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The Quila supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quila would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
