Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Backhouse in the 4th minute of play forced Los Guerreros's goalkeeper Bonifacio Guichard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Acero Cap booed when Los Guerreros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdón Arévalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban José Warnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Guichard having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Detmer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Baudelio Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gonzalo Detmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Baudelio Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuelo Santa Ana's late challenge caught a Los Guerreros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuelo Santa Ana helped the player get up and apologised. 24 minutes into the match, Acero Cap's goalkeeper Baudelio Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Detmer. 27 minutes into the match, Los Guerreros's Karlos Jeréz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baudelio Machado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baudelio Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karlos Jeréz in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Acero Cap's goalkeeper Baudelio Machado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Backhouse scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bonifacio Guichard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baudelio Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karlos Jeréz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Gonzalo Detmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Plácido Collados fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acero Cap's protests and gave Plácido Collados a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute Gonzalo Detmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baudelio Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Los Guerreros's Bonifacio Guichard got control of the ball when Esteban José Warnes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Los Guerreros's goalkeeper Bonifacio Guichard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban José Warnes. Baudelio Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Acero Cap's goal looked a bit too open when Karlos Jeréz came free, but Baudelio Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Los Guerreros's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Backhouse came free, but Bonifacio Guichard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Gonzalo Detmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baudelio Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Acero Cap's goal looked a bit too open when Karlos Jeréz came free, but Baudelio Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gonzalo Detmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban José Warnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Guichard having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
