The referee ignored Aravilla AFC's protests and gave Cresenciano Berganza a yellow card for diving instead. Cresenciano Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Aravilla AFC's Ferrando Velez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alarico Gibson in the 12th minute of play. Bernardo Torres in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diego Barrientos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sebastián Bareyre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Diego Barrientos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Bareyre in the 27th minute of play forced Collipulli FC's goalkeeper Diego Barrientos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alarico Gibson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferrando Velez having to interfere. In the 47th minute Alarico Gibson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferrando Velez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastián Bareyre was the one to do the kick off. When Sebastián Bareyre came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Aravilla AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastián Bareyre couldn't finish the play. If Félix Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliazar Rogers's late challenge caught a Aravilla AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliazar Rogers helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Collipulli FC's Eliazar Rogers got a free kick in the 90th minute. Diego Barrientos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 94 played minutes Aravilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Bareyre. Collipulli FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
