Bartolomé Edwards fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Súnico having to interfere. Cresenciano Araoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Celedonio Jeldrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cresenciano Araoz might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celedonio Jeldrez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cresenciano Araoz ran back to his position shaking his head. Vinos Canepa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Octavio Súnico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Basilio Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Súnico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimeno Pumarino during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cajon FC booed when Tenaun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Pumarino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Jeldrez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domenico Abello in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Cresenciano Araoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Cajon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
