Cristián Rodenas was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Rafael Maria Blanch capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Maria Blanch really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Maria Blanch in the 10th minute of play forced Contornasa FC's goalkeeper Cristián Rodenas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Turrieta got free with Cristián Rodenas in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Turrieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Cristián Rodenas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Contornasa FC's Cristián Rodenas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Contornasa FC from getting a goal against them. Cristián Rodenas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Turrieta in the 29th minute. If Lorencio Huilcaman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristián Rodenas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Maria Blanch in the 44th minute of play. Miguel Ángel Restovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorencio Huilcaman in the 46th minute of the match. Cristián Rodenas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Maria Blanch, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Maria Blanch to make the kick off. If Daniel Turrieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 53 minutes, Daniel Turrieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guayacan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Turrieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Asier Huneeus fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guayacan AFC's protests and gave Asier Huneeus a yellow card for diving instead. Asier Huneeus hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Fermín Parrochia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Félix Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fermín Parrochia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Miguel Ángel Restovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guayacan AFC's Alvino Valdivia got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes, Contornasa FC's Silvino Dagnino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Restovic came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Contornasa FC reached it. After 73 played minutes Guayacan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Luis Paris. Rafael Maria Blanch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristián Rodenas having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Contornasa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odín Dietert to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Daniel Turrieta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristián Rodenas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Daniel Turrieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cristián Rodenas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Contornasa FC's Cristián Rodenas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Maria Blanch in the 88th minute of play. Guayacan AFC's Daniel Turrieta got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Turrieta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristián Rodenas having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Guayacan AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Contornasa FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
