After 6 played minutes Barriles got a freekick which was hit by Silviano Oses. Narcís Valdenebro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Bermúdez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Nazario Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubén Irisarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Bermúdez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Paz in the 16th minute of the match. Lucio Mas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Barriles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubén Irisarri to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Barriles's goalkeeper Fausto Bermúdez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robustiano Ortuño. After 28 minutes of play, Nehuentue FC's Robustiano Ortuño made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Bermúdez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robustiano Ortuño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Bermúdez having to interfere. The supporters of Nehuentue FC booed when Barriles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Podador Camacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nehuentue FC's Renato Llana in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barriles's goalie prevented a goal. Robustiano Ortuño in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Anselmo Echandia hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Llana during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
