Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Xabel Miranda started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Oqueldan's goal looked a bit too open when Xabel Miranda came free, but Ezmundo Abaroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xabel Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ezmundo Abaroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurilio Carrillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ezmundo Abaroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezmundo Abaroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xabel Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Ezmundo Abaroa came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Buin AFC's Xabel Miranda. But to his dismay, Xabel Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ezmundo Abaroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xabel Miranda in the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Oqueldan's zone, Maurilio Carrillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezmundo Abaroa came out of the goal and Maurilio Carrillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Buin AFC's goalkeeper Martin Tindall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ireno Lobos. Oqueldan's Lander Contardo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Xabel Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ireno Lobos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Tindall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ireno Lobos in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Paulino Nancupel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ireno Lobos came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Oqueldan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ireno Lobos couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Lander Contardo made the kick off in the second half. Maurilio Carrillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ezmundo Abaroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes, Sergio Martiarena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oqueldan and the Buin AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Oqueldan getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Sergio Martiarena hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Oqueldan defense, Maurilio Carrillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezmundo Abaroa. The Oqueldan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezmundo Abaroa should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xabel Miranda in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezmundo Abaroa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maurilio Carrillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lander Contardo during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oqueldan's Lander Contardo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ireno Lobos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Tindall having to interfere. Ireno Lobos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lander Contardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ireno Lobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlo Languard hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Juan Eduardo Sola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezmundo Abaroa having to interfere. Xabel Miranda struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ezmundo Abaroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buin AFC. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Buin AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
