Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ariel Campos kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Yaquil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Campos to maneuver through the defense. Amado Devoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierre Fritis having to make a save. Yaquil's Silvio Triviño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Rochefort in the 13th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sandro Rochefort's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvio Triviño was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Silvio Triviño didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salbatore Popelaire went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute Amado Devoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Fritis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Sandro Rochefort managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Docamavida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Rochefort was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pierre Fritis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Campos in the 31st minute of play. Ariel Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pierre Fritis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Yaquil's zone, Salbatore Popelaire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Triviño came out of the goal and Salbatore Popelaire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandro Rochefort made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Próspero Miquel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Yaquil booed when Docamavida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salbatore Popelaire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ariel Campos succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 59th match minute, Docamavida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Otarola to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Fritis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Rochefort in the 63rd minute of play forced Yaquil's goalkeeper Silvio Triviño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Yaquil booed when Docamavida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Otarola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Berendique took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pierre Fritis. Docamavida AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Amado Devoto took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pierre Fritis. Pierre Fritis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Ariel Campos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierre Fritis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Sandro Rochefort managed to get in a good position for a shot. Docamavida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Rochefort was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Triviño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulín Poblete charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulín Poblete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulín Poblete hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salbatore Popelaire in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Triviño saved Yaquil from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Amado Devoto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pierre Fritis, passed just outside the right post. The Docamavida AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yaquil's performance. The match ended with a win for Yaquil.
