Silvio Triviño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Toledo's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Toledo in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvio Triviño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tejeria FC's goalkeeper Camilo Marcó, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ezequiel Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Triviño having to interfere. Eliazar Valderrama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tejeria FC's Peio Elorriaga got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Ariel Campos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Camilo Marcó, passed just outside the right post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Tejeria FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yaquil:s goal. The referee gave Yaquil a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulo Berendique, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tejeria FC's Camilo Marcó. 1-0. In the 35th minute, Eliazar Valderrama got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Calvino Aichele fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tejeria FC's protests and gave Calvino Aichele a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Tejeria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvino Aichele to maneuver through the defense. Próspero Miquel hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Silvio Triviño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliazar Valderrama in the 41st minute of play.

A wasted opportunity for Yaquil. After 76 minutes of play Tejeria FC's Calvino Aichele was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Yaquil booed when Tejeria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvino Aichele didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Eliazar Valderrama managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tejeria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliazar Valderrama was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Triviño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Tejeria FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
