Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Naelio Somarriva took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alejandro Tamayo's late challenge caught a Duraznito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Tamayo helped the player get up and apologised. Alejandro Tamayo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Rómulo Placente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute Bermejo Basay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Marcó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Marcó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bermejo Basay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Marcó stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bermejo Basay's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. The long shot by Gilberto Seraín in the 23rd minute really tested Silviano Sanabria's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Naelio Somarriva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Montenegro's goal looked a bit too open when Bermejo Basay came free, but Claudio Marcó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Bermejo Basay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duraznito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bermejo Basay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Naelio Somarriva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Duraznito FC's Silviano Sanabria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Filiberto Marfil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Claudio Marcó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bermejo Basay in the 42nd minute of play forced Montenegro's goalkeeper Claudio Marcó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naelio Somarriva in the 48th minute of play forced Duraznito FC's goalkeeper Silviano Sanabria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Montenegro's Claudio Marcó got control of the ball when Filiberto Marfil tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Duraznito FC's Bermejo Basay in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montenegro's goalie prevented a goal. If Fulco Garzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Duraznito FC's Bermejo Basay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudio Marcó. That made the score 0-1 after 65 minutes of play. Silviano Sanabria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naelio Somarriva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bermejo Basay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Naelio Somarriva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silviano Sanabria was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Duraznito FC's Filiberto Marfil got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Filiberto Marfil got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fulco Garzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duraznito FC's Silviano Sanabria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulco Garzo in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Fulco Garzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Duraznito FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
