After 12 played minutes Olivo got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Turrieta. Axel Nilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pinone Prenafeta in the 16th minute of the match. Fermín Peirano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Eriberto Tabilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Rolando Turrieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Pinone Prenafeta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Axel Nilo was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 31st match minute, Palgua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Cossio to maneuver through the defense. Olivo's Eriberto Tabilo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Olivo from getting a goal against them. After having played for 34 minutes, Darien Abbott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palgua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darien Abbott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Darien Abbott might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Tabilo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darien Abbott ran back to his position shaking his head. Pol Languard charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pol Languard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, Olivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pol Languard to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Tabilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermín Peirano in the 43rd minute of the match. Eriberto Tabilo made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Darien Abbott sent off a good shot on target. If Darien Abbott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermín Peirano was the one to do the kick off. Axel Nilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pinone Prenafeta in the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Rolando Turrieta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pinone Prenafeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Olivo's goalkeeper Eriberto Tabilo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eriberto Tabilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermín Peirano, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 80th minute of the match, Rolando Turrieta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Axel Nilo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevan Thayer in the 87th minute of play forced Olivo's goalkeeper Eriberto Tabilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Nilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pinone Prenafeta in the 96th minute of the match. The Olivo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olivo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
