In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Caremalpu AFC. Lautaro Maira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Feliberto Albano. 1-0. If Miguel Ángel Browne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Savier Acurcio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Ángel Browne's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When Tor Gazitúa fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caremalpu AFC's protests and gave Tor Gazitúa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Natri booed when Caremalpu AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Gazitúa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Mariño struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Feliberto Albano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caremalpu AFC. Tor Gazitúa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Feliberto Albano made a huge save. When Milián Saldaña fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Natri's protests and gave Milián Saldaña a yellow card for diving instead. Milián Saldaña hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes, Jonatan Mariño made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Natri's Feliberto Albano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Miguel Ángel Browne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Natri's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Ángel Browne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Savier Acurcio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Savier Acurcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Browne in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Ángel Browne to strike the kick off in the second half. Tor Gazitúa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
