Lalin FC's Jonatán Mascayano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Waiben in the 5th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Limahuida got a freekick which was hit by Constancio Montoya. 14 minutes into the game, Lalin FC's Nastasio Raymond nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juliano Bassenge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 17 played minutes Limahuida got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Fuenzalida. When Adrián Brzovic came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Lalin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrián Brzovic couldn't finish the play. Nastasio Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constancio Montoya hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Limahuida's goalkeeper Juliano Bassenge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nastasio Raymond. After a rather tough play, Lalin FC's Nicolas Graumann got a free kick in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Nastasio Raymond lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Juliano Bassenge. The Lalin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatán Mascayano should have stopped the shot. Adrián Brzovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrián Brzovic was the one to do the kick off. Adrián Brzovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 55 minutes into the match, Limahuida's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Brzovic came free, but Juliano Bassenge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacindo Vanohier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juliano Bassenge. In the 70th of the match, Roberto Waiben tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jonatán Mascayano got in the way and made a wonderful save. Roberto Waiben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatán Mascayano having to interfere. When Victoro Bueras fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lalin FC's protests and gave Victoro Bueras a yellow card for diving instead. Victoro Bueras kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Limahuida's Roberto Waiben got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 79 minutes, Jacindo Vanohier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lalin FC and the Limahuida players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christiano Abufhele who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Jonatán Mascayano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Victoro Bueras got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Lalin FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Victoro Bueras hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Nicolas Graumann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lalin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Graumann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juliano Bassenge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nastasio Raymond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Juliano Bassenge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
