Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alejandro Manso de Velasco got the match started through his kick off. Joaquin Villela kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Alejandro Manso de Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Quinahue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Manso de Velasco couldn't finish the play. If Luis Eduardo Porte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celino Galmes charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celino Galmes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Maquegua getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Celino Galmes hit a great ball. Quinahue's Wilfredo Reinoso couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maquegua. Maquegua's Rolando Urmeneta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Maquegua from getting a goal against them. Lino Andreu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Washington Alveal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Maquegua's zone, Alejandro Manso de Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Urmeneta came out of the goal and Alejandro Manso de Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Maquegua booed when Quinahue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Marty didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maquegua! The referee gave Quinahue a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wilfredo Reinoso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Maquegua's Rolando Urmeneta. 2-1. Luis Eduardo Porte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Isaiás Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Quinahue's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luis Eduardo Porte fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Luis Eduardo Porte got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rolando Urmeneta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Manso de Velasco in the 79th minute of play. Rolando Urmeneta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Manso de Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 90 minutes, Joaquin Villela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maquegua and the Quinahue players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emilio Felipe Bugueño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Urmeneta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Emilio Felipe Bugueño might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Urmeneta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Felipe Bugueño ran back to his position shaking his head.
