Maquis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Mateo Danke scored to the left of an out of position Francisco Martín Mundaca, making the score, 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Maquis's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Danke came free, but Francisco Martín Mundaca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Maquis's Teodovico Pastene got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Adam Isaguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Disvandis Guerola in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Carlos Ortega saved Delirio AFC from getting behind. Mateo Danke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Martín Mundaca having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Francisco Martín Mundaca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Francisco Martín Mundaca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Danke in the 28th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Eulalio Illanes Ansaldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Delirio AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maquis the free kick. The supporters of Maquis booed when Delirio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Illanes Ansaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermegildo Oyanedel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Disvandis Guerola in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Carlos Ortega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Mateo Danke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francisco Martín Mundaca, 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elizalde Basanguren was the one to do the kick off. Maquis's Disvandis Guerola got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute Delirio AFC were awarded a corner. Ferrando Herdoyza went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Delirio AFC's Ferrando Herdoyza to fire away a dangerous shot which Francisco Martín Mundaca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 74 minutes, Ermegildo Oyanedel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maquis and the Delirio AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, one of Maquis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maquis. The referee gave Delirio AFC a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ferrando Herdoyza, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Maquis's Francisco Martín Mundaca. 3-0. After some careless play in the Delirio AFC defense, Disvandis Guerola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Carlos Ortega. The Delirio AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Carlos Ortega should have stopped the shot. Francisco Martín Mundaca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Danke in the 88th minute of play. Maquis's Francisco Martín Mundaca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Pareja in the 89th minute of play. Juan Carlos Ortega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elizalde Basanguren in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Delirio AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Maquis had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
