The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Telmo Sáenz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergi Iriart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Martiarena during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Caramavida FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Martiarena. Esteban Perfetti hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. A collision led to Caramavida FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Toni Rivadeneira hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Selmo Laferte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Telmo Sáenz. Selmo Laferte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 22nd play minutes Selmo Laferte shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Telmo Sáenz and just under the crossbar into goal. After 25 minutes, Regino Corral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caramavida FC and the Rilan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rilan FC booed when Caramavida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Regino Corral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Caramavida FC's Alejandro Martiarena got a free kick in the 30th minute. Sergi Iriart struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Telmo Sáenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rilan FC. Urtsín Feldman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Telmo Sáenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salomone Ardiles during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Caramavida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salomone Ardiles to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Urtsín Feldman came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Rilan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtsín Feldman couldn't finish the play. In the 59th match minute, Caramavida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Rivadeneira to maneuver through the defense. Selmo Laferte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Sáenz having to interfere. Telmo Sáenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selmo Laferte in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Selmo Laferte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rilan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 72nd match minute, Rilan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazario Coulin to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 74 minutes, Pío Riveros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caramavida FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pío Riveros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristofer Urtaza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pío Riveros in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Selmo Laferte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telmo Sáenz was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 80th minute of the match José Francisco Solares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Telmo Sáenz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Rilan FC's goalkeeper Cristofer Urtaza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pío Riveros. When Pío Riveros, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 92 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cristofer Urtaza was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Caramavida FC booed when Rilan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nazario Coulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rilan FC had won after a very even match.
