Bartolomé Moñiz's late challenge caught a Altue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolomé Moñiz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Moncopulli getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bartolomé Moñiz hit a great ball. Altue's Normando Requena got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Hernán Pulgar in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Cuenca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karlos Crawley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Jesus Angeloni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Altue's zone, Horacio Jesus Angeloni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karlos Crawley came out of the goal and Horacio Jesus Angeloni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Hernán Pulgar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Altue's Ulises Gacitúa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaac Cuenca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Altue getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Carlos Hernán Pulgar hit a great ball. Horacio Jesus Angeloni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karlos Crawley having to interfere.

The wind increased when Ulises Gacitúa made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Arcaya during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Moncopulli booed when Altue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Arcaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karlos Crawley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Galilea in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Altue's goal looked a bit too open when Teodor Galilea came free, but Karlos Crawley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karlos Crawley came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Moncopulli's Teodor Galilea. But to his dismay, Teodor Galilea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Isaac Cuenca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Gacitúa, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Horacio Jesus Angeloni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlos Crawley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Jesus Angeloni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karlos Crawley having to interfere. Moncopulli's Bartolomé Moñiz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Altue. Carlos Hernán Pulgar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Isaac Cuenca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Altue's Carlos Hernán Pulgar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isaac Cuenca. Isaac Cuenca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 90 played minutes, Altue's Normando Requena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isaac Cuenca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Altue reached it. Ulises Gacitúa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Cuenca having to interfere. Moncopulli's Isaac Cuenca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Gacitúa in the 93rd minute of play.
