The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Colegual FC were furious when Amado Cruchaga was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Colegual FC! Oliverio Echague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Barahona, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A collision led to Colegual FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jacindo Seriche hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Colegual FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Bolocco came free, but Oliverio Echague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliverio Echague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Bolocco in the 30th minute of play. Marc Barahona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Oliverio Echague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Bolocco in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliverio Echague saved Colegual FC from getting behind. If Oscar Bolocco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Oscar Bolocco notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Colegual FC's Oliverio Echague. Oliverio Echague was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 50 minutes into the match, Colegual FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Bolocco came free, but Oliverio Echague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Bolocco to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Oscar Bolocco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliverio Echague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Colegual FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacindo Seriche to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th play minute Marc Barahona came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Oliverio Echague. 1-3. Marc Barahona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Oliverio Echague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc Barahona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oscar Bolocco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliverio Echague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Bolocco in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Ervigio Bessoayn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guarilihue's Florencio Camara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ervigio Bessoayn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Camara having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Leandro Bari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guarilihue and the Colegual FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marc Barahona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliverio Echague having to interfere. The Colegual FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guarilihue's performance. The match ended with a win for Guarilihue.
